Maybe you have data but no idea how to turn it into a thesis. Maybe you have 90,000 words that don't hang together. Or maybe your viva is in six weeks. Most candidates who write to us are doing it after a full working day.
Whatever your starting point, a doctoral researcher helps you write, fix or defend your thesis β built on your research and your voice, and paced around your job.

You are not a first-year student with a deadline next week. You are years into one project, usually alongside work and family β and these are the walls candidates hit.
Data collected, reading done β and still no idea how to start writing.
Written years apart, they repeat each other and use different terms.
The work is original, but no chapter says plainly what it adds.
The thesis only gets the last hour of the day β and some weeks, not even that.
Feedback arrives slowly, and UM's rules say supervisors don't proofread theses.
The MPhil-to-PhD panel wants progress, a plan and early findings.
You know the work, but not what the examiners will ask about it.
Strong research held back by academic English, in a thesis that must be in English.
Every candidate arrives at a different point. Pick yours β each path is priced on its own, and you can move to the next one whenever you are ready.
Best if: you have a topic or data, but no clear question, structure or first chapter.
We help you write your thesis from day one: questions, proposal, chapter plan, then each chapter developed with you.
Start From ZeroBest if: chapters exist, but they are too long, disconnected or keep coming back.
Coherence edits, contribution rewrites, cuts to the word limit and an examiner-style read.
Fix My DraftBest if: the thesis is submitted, or the examiners have sent their report.
Likely questions, a mock viva, and every examiner's point answered in a response document.
Prepare for My VivaNot sure which one you are? Send whatever you have β even just your topic β and we'll tell you honestly.
Yes β even if all you have is a topic and a lot of reading. We sit down with you, turn it into a plan, and help you write it chapter by chapter, around your working week.
A call about your interests, data and deadlines β evenings or weekends, English or Maltese.
Research questions narrowed to something examinable, and a proposal your supervisors can approve.
Every chapter planned with word counts, and monthly milestones that fit your job.
Each chapter developed from your data, notes and voice, with reasons you can defend.
Most candidates today write the first draft themselves β often with AI tools on the side. What they need next is a researcher who reads it the way examiners will.

| You have⦠| What usually goes wrong | What we do |
|---|---|---|
| A full draft, too long | Thousands of words over a firm limit | Cut to the limit section by section, argument intact |
| Chapters written years apart | Repetition, shifting terms, no single thread | A coherence audit across the whole thesis |
| Supervisor says "contribution unclear" | Findings described but never claimed | Your contribution stated in words examiners can quote |
| Analysis done, write-up weak | Results read like a lab log | Analysis chapter rebuilt into a research argument |
| A draft polished with AI tools | Generic phrasing and unchecked references | Every source verified and your own voice restored |
| English as a second language | Strong ideas lost in unclear sentences | Academic editing that keeps your meaning and style |
Want the full picture first? An examiner-style review gives you likely viva questions, weak points and a ranked fix list.
Most of our thesis clients work full-time. So the support is shaped around your week, not the other way round.
Talk to your researcher after work, in English or Maltese.
A realistic plan with one clear target a month.
Progress by email or WhatsApp, so nothing waits for a meeting.
Busy season at the office? Stages can wait, and nothing is lost.

There is no rubric for a thesis. Examiners judge it against your regulations and your own research questions β so that is exactly what we work from.
β Swipe to see the full table
| What examiners test | How we help you meet it |
|---|---|
| Understanding the question | Research questions tightened so every chapter answers them |
| Structure | A chapter map that removes repetition and carries one argument |
| Peer-reviewed sources | Literature brought up to date, with every reference opened and checked |
| Critical analysis | Findings argued against the literature, never over-claimed |
| Referencing | Your required style, consistent from the first page to the last |
| Academic integrity | Work built on your research, within your originality declaration |
The viva is where a thesis is really decided. We prepare you for it, and help you finish the job afterwards.
The questions your examiners are most likely to ask, with notes on how to answer them.
A practice session with a researcher who has examined theses β so the real one feels familiar.
Minor or major corrections, with a response document that maps every examiner's point.
Your thesis carries a signed declaration that it is your own work, and you defend it alone. Our help is built for both.
We work from your data, your ideas and your voice β we never invent results.
Follow your university's rules on editing help and AI, and tell your supervisors where required.
Every chapter comes with notes on why it was written that way, so you can defend it.
Researchers who have supervised or examined theses. Degree certificates and photo ID are checked before anyone joins.
Every stage is priced separately, in euro, and the price is fixed once you approve the scope.

Andrei's transfer report was referred, then confirmed once his contribution was stated up front.
PhD Education (part-time) Β· University of Malta Β· 8,000 words Β· APA 7
The panel referred his report β not because the research was weak, but because nobody could see what it added. He had studied one school's assessment practice carefully for three years.
His researcher moved the contribution to the opening pages, set the study against two competing models instead of one, and added a chapter map showing how the remaining work would test the argument. The report was confirmed at the next panel.
PhD, research Master's and professional doctorate candidates β initials only, because unpublished research stays private.
The questions candidates ask before trusting anyone with years of research.
Yes. Send your topic, data or even just your reading notes. We help you form research questions, plan the chapters and write them with you, step by step.
Yes β most of our thesis clients do. Calls happen in the evenings or at weekends, and stages follow monthly milestones you can realistically meet.
Usually one of three things: a coherence audit, cuts to the word limit, or an examiner-style review with likely viva questions. Send it and we will tell you which.
A dissertation ends a Bachelor's or taught Master's degree. A thesis is the longer work behind a research degree such as a PhD, examined by a board and defended in a viva.
We help you write it stage by stage, built on your research, data and voice. You sign an originality declaration and defend the thesis alone, so every chapter comes with notes you can stand behind.
Yes. The transfer report has a different job from a chapter: it must show progress, a plan and a clear contribution.
Yes. At UM, minor corrections normally have three months and major ones six to twelve. We work point by point through the examiners' report.
Yes. The UM PhD limit is 100,000 words, excluding references and appendices, and we cut to it section by section.
Normally three years full-time (four for candidates entering with a Bachelor's degree) and six years part-time, with extensions of up to two years.
Usually not. UM theses are written in English unless the research area is a modern language, in which case an English extended summary of about 5,000 words is also required.
UM's regulations say supervisors don't proofread theses, but they don't list rules for outside editing. Check with your supervisors and declare help wherever your faculty asks.
It can be if references were invented or the voice no longer sounds like you. We check every source and restore your own style β and you should declare AI use where your university requires it.
Each stage is priced separately β for example, a coherence audit starts from β¬140 and post-viva corrections from β¬150. The price is fixed once you approve the scope.
Entirely. Topics, datasets and drafts are never shared, published or used to train anything.
Tell us where you are β even if it is just a topic. A doctoral researcher replies within 15 minutes with a plan and a fixed price for the next step.
