At UM, MCAST and every college on the islands, most essays don't lose marks because of grammar. They lose marks because the main point never becomes clear.
So we start with the plan. You agree the direction first. Then a subject expert who knows how Maltese lecturers mark writes a model essay, with notes that explain every choice — so you can learn from it and write with confidence.
Fill in the form — our expert responds within 15 minutes
Usually for one of six reasons, and none of them is grammar. Ask students in Msida, Paola or Cospicua and you'll hear the same list — find yours below.
You have read a lot, but you can't sum up your point in one sentence. Without that sentence, every paragraph goes off in its own direction — and markers notice on page one.
Forty minutes, a blank page, three deleted openings — usually the night before a study-unit deadline. The first 150 words are the hardest part of any essay.
Describing says what a source said. Critical writing says why it matters and why the other side is weaker. That difference can be worth two grade bands.
"Critically evaluate" is not "discuss". "Compare" is not "describe both". Get the question word wrong and even good writing stays near a pass.
Your faculty says "declare it", your lecturer says "avoid it", and nobody shows you where the line is. Guessing wrong can cost more than a low mark.
900 words over or 600 under — both lose marks. Cutting without losing the argument is a skill, and so is adding words without filler.
Every common format — each with its own trap, and lecturers here notice quickly when the format is wrong. Here is where the marks hide in each one.
One clear position from the first line to the last. The strongest opposing view is answered, not ignored. Skipping it is what keeps most essays in the middle bands.
Weighing the evidence instead of listing it: which study is stronger, which sample was too small, what the data can't prove.
Common in nursing, education and social work units at UM and MCAST. Your real placement experience stays at the centre — reflection fails when it turns into a diary or into self-praise.
Organised by themes, not two summaries stuck together. The marks come from the comparison itself.
Journal sources brought together into one argument, not stacked up as a list. Best when the reading list is half the grade.
Timed practice essays and model answers for January and June exam sessions, plus scholarship and study-abroad statements where one page has to sound like you.
🇲🇹 Need your essay in Maltese? Many University of Malta and MCAST units expect written work in Maltese. We cover essays in Maltese as well as English — just write "Maltese" in the order form. For longer work, see our dissertation writing services or send any brief through do my assignment.
In four steps, all online — the same whether you're in Sliema or Victoria, Gozo. Step two, the plan, is where you stay in control.
The question, word count, referencing style and reading list if you have one. A photo of the printed brief or a screenshot from your VLE is fine.
Before writing starts, you get the main argument in one line and a paragraph-by-paragraph plan. Don't like the angle? Change it now — changing a plan takes minutes, changing a finished essay takes days.
Every paragraph moves the argument forward. Citations are added while writing, not stuck on at the end.
You get the essay plus short notes on how it is built. Read it, ask questions, and ask for changes if it moved away from the plan.
Yes — every order comes with support built for that. Classes here are small, and lecturers often know your writing and may ask you about it.
One page that shows the main argument, what each paragraph does, and why it sits where it does. Easy to read in ten minutes.
What each key source says and why it was chosen, with page numbers — so you can open it and read further yourself.
Optional. A short call with the writer, in English or Maltese, to talk through the reasoning and answer your questions.
It depends on your institution, and sometimes on the unit. Here is the short version — and one rule that applies everywhere: your assessment brief comes first.
UM's guidance treats AI as a learning aid if you stay in control, check everything, and clearly declare how you used it. Using it without declaring it in assessed work counts as misconduct. Some units don't allow it at all.
In 2026 MCAST told lecturers not to base academic judgement on AI-detection scores alone, because detectors can wrongly flag real student work. Authenticity is handled through the college's updated Academic Integrity Policy.
Some private providers set their own limits. At GBS Malta, for example, work with a Turnitin AI score of 20% or more is reviewed by the tutor, and AI use must be acknowledged like any other source.
Four promises you can check against what lands in your inbox, wherever you study on the islands. If one is missing, tell us and we fix it.
Journal and book sources with page numbers, including Maltese and EU material where your topic needs it. If we can't access a source, we tell you — we never make one up.
A first-year essay reads like a first-year essay. The tone matches your level, not something your lecturer wouldn't believe.
No filler to reach the limit. Reference list not counted unless you say so. Stricter department rule? Tell us and we'll stay inside it.
If the finished essay moved away from the plan you approved, we fix it at no cost inside the revision window.
Yes — only one of the three is written for your title. Here is what each really gives you, and which one keeps your grade safe.

It did for Elisa. Her research was solid — what held her back was an essay that never took a side.
BA History · University of Malta · 2,000 words · Chicago footnotes
Elisa's first attempt read like a well-researched timeline. The dates were right and the sources were real, but the essay never said which view it agreed with. The marker wrote "narrative, not analysis" and gave it 64%.
Her writer started with one clear sentence backing one group of historians over another. Then every paragraph tested that claim against the evidence. The research stayed Elisa's — the argument gave it a direction. The new feedback praised a clear position and confident use of primary sources.

“The outline they sent first was worth the money on its own. I finally saw how a literature essay is built instead of guessing paragraph by paragraph.”

Anyone whose essays keep stalling — a first-year, a Master's student or someone working night shifts. Your help is shaped around where you actually are.
Sixth form and MATSEC taught you to describe. University wants you to argue. That gap shows up in the first semester, and a worked example closes it fastest.
Critical thinking is now expected, not taught. Essays get longer, marking gets stricter, and the reading list is no longer optional.
Bringing ten sources together into one line of argument. Handled only by writers with postgraduate degrees.
Back in education after years at work, often on an evening or part-time course. Your ideas are strong — the academic rules just need a refresh.
Came to Malta to study and now juggle shifts in hospitality or iGaming? We keep updates short and on WhatsApp, and write in clear, natural English at your level.
Failed a study-unit? That feeling is heavy, but the resit is a second chance with better information. We start from the marker's feedback, not from zero.
Yes. Rules change between institutions and even between faculties, so your essay follows the department that will mark it — its referencing style and its submission format.
University of Malta · Msida
Seminar essays, take-home papers and coursework across arts, law, education, theology and social wellbeing. These departments want argument over summary, and a bibliography that shows real reading.
MCAST · Paola & Mosta
Essay units inside practical programmes — ethics, communication, sustainability, health and society. Each paragraph is linked to the criterion it covers, so nothing is left unmarked.
American University of Malta · Cospicua
Many shorter papers across the semester, almost always APA 7 with a title page and running head. Formatting stays the same across every essay you order that term.
GBS Malta · Global College Malta · ITS
Essays in management, marketing and hospitality programmes at GBS Malta, Global College Malta and the Institute of Tourism Studies. Theory has to be applied to a real organisation, not just defined.
From Birkirkara to Marsaskala and across to Gozo — everything happens online, so your town makes no difference to delivery.
Almost certainly. These are the essay-heavy subjects and study-unit topics Maltese students send us most — and our writers cover far more.

Not from us. We never contact your university, reviews use initials only, and your essay is never published, reused or sold to another student. It exists in one place — with you. How you use it is your responsibility, so check your institution's rules on outside help.
Yes, and in Malta it happens more often now. That's why every order includes an argument map and source notes, and you can book a call with the writer. Treat the essay as a model to learn from, so that whatever you hand in reflects what you genuinely understand.
It depends on where you study. Some colleges review work above a set AI score, while MCAST has told lecturers not to rely on detector scores alone. See the AI rules section above for UM, MCAST and private colleges.
Three to four days is comfortable. 24 hours is possible for most undergraduate subjects.
Yes — send the list and those sources come first. Lecturers usually expect their own set texts to appear. An essay that only cites outside material can look as if the module was skipped.
Maltese-speaking writers who know the subject. Tell us your level and module in the form, and we'll confirm the writer before you pay.
Send the original brief, your first essay and the marker's feedback. The feedback tells us exactly where marks were lost, so the new plan fixes those points first instead of starting over.
Yes. Many students order just the introduction and thesis, or a stronger conclusion for a draft they wrote. Parts are priced by section, so they cost far less than a full essay.
Send the module outline and we'll suggest two or three workable titles, with a note on which is easiest to argue well. A question that is too broad is one of the most common reasons good essays score low.
If you have already written the essay and only want it checked and improved, our proofreading & editing service is the better fit.
